Ellen has over a decade of experience in various library settings and joined Saint Luke's in 2023. She has her Master’s in Library and Information Science and a certification in medical coding.

Ellen loves to research, spend time with her family and animals, and listen to music.

Beth earned her Master’s in Library and Information Science from Emporia University and is currently enrolled in Rockhurst University’s MBA program.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Beth finds solace and joy in spending time outdoors with her children and dogs.

Assistant Librarian

Lissa joined the Health Sciences Library in 2003. She loves helping people find the information they need and working with the Saint Luke's Archive.

Lissa lives with her family and four cats and is far too fond of tea.

Betty Shouse was a lifelong librarian with a Masters in Library Science and a beloved

resident at Bishop Spencer Place.

She was born at Saint Luke's and spent many hours as a volunteer at the hospital.

Through her estate, the Margaret E. Shouse Health Sciences Library was established to serve graduate students, medical students, and residents at Saint Luke's Hospital of Kansas City.
